At this point, I do think I'd take Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery, Martellus Bennett, and Matt Forte over Jordy Nelson, James Jones, Andrew Quarless, and Eddie Lacy. Alshon Jeffery is quickly becoming an elite receiver. Once Cobb and Rodgers are back, I don't think it would really matter much. But Chicago's main offensive weapons are nothing to laugh about, at all. Having two elite WRs and an elite RB is tough to stop.

And for the 2013 season, I don't see how there can any any debate. McCown >>> Flynn.

I don't think McCown is the long term answer even though he has looked pretty darn good this year.

There wasn't much "basking in the glow of a high draft pick" since pretty much anyone responsible for that mess lost their job. I'm sure they were fine with sacrificing their livelihoods for the good of the Indianapolis Colts though.

Bill & Chris were ending a 14 year run at the helm of the team, both were up for contract renewals, Chris was hated in the organization and Irsay wanted to fire him, AND Peyton was injured and up for a new contract as well.

Irsay ordered/orchestrated the tank to help his new team.

3: The Bares have "more weapons?" lol

The Bears turned their offensive line situation around in one off-season. Signed a free agent left tackles and (luckily) drafted two guys on the right side with a HIGH ceiling.

And yes, at this time...the Bears do have more weapons. They have two receivers at the top of the league right now, a premier runningback and a good tight end. Packers offense is decimated.
