Rodgers: ‘My personal life is my personal life’
However, Rodgers does not shy away from being critical when he believes it's justified. He recently showed his frustration with the way CBS news magazine "60 Minutes" chose to edit its story on him. Instead of mentioning the MACC Fund, a childhood cancer research organization Rodgers gives plenty of his time to, "60 Minutes" focused much of its attention on his sensitivity about his height and other issues.
As he met with the local media Wednesday, Rodgers was sporting a full mustache in support of Movember — an annual November event intended to raise awareness for early detection of cancer and to help battle the disease.
When asked about his new facial hair growth, the quarterback used the opportunity to take another shot at "60 Minutes."
"I just like this look, I do," Rodgers said. "Unlike some TV programs, any chance I can get to raise awareness about cancer, I'm going to do. That's why I'm choosing to wear this for now."
