A couple of weeks ago, I wrote that I felt that Scott Tolzien was the answer at the backup QB position. I would like to retract my original statement and offer a revised one: Scott Tolzien is UNDENIABLY the answer at the backup QB position. I am quite glad that I allowed the

Flynn was getting killed, and I was calling for Tolzien, but I think Flynn still gets the start. If Aaron can't go.

I don't think any QB would have won that game with the way that piss poor excuse of an offensive line played.

It would be difficult to expect much from most QBs behind that line. Not saying Flynn was playing at his best, but he had almost no time to even make a decision before a wall of blue was headed right for him.

I blame the OL and poor playcalling more than anything else as far as offensive struggles go.

When you give Matt Flynn more than a half a second to throw, he is serviceable.

Can we just call this season a train wreck and move on, instead of trying to "fix" things. What I watch Thursday was a team that phoned it in. That can't be reversed without some major changes.

GB has not had a serviceable backup since Aaron was the backup. Uncle Teddy and Mike believe that crap that all Mike has to do is sprinkle some of of his spit onto a QB and he is magically transformed into a NFL caliber QB. After all Flynn "almost" won against Detroit and NE when he filled in for Aaron. Yes he was the QB when they beat the Lions team in 2011. His career passing rating of 86 illustrates he is mediocre at best.
With a poor OL no one but Aaron can win games. I guess they will have to invest some more draft picks on the OL yet again. I guess they will have to find a line coach who can actually develop them too.

But not Mike!

Was curious if a running QB would have served us well in this certain situation.
