Blame McCarthy and Capers. The game was lost on the possession when MM went for the onside kick. Pack were running the ball extremely well, then MM decided to throw the ball and ended up getting a FG. The momentum was huge, until the Pack were forced to take the FG. I have no idea why Capers is still the DC......guess he's making money on the side by not rushing a terrible qb. That's all.......now I wait to hear what MM's excuse is.......

I blame Wallace

You are right about not rushing for the td as well though.

Blame TED THOMPSON for cutting 3 QBs better than Wallace, not to mention NOT building a better all around team. And hell yes, BLAME WALLACE too. That interception was all on him. The guy seems to have no arm strength. He is supposed to be a good runner, but he damn sure didn't look like it. It took the dumbass Bear D Coordinator a long while to figure out he didn't have to defend against Wallace like he did against Rodgers, but when he finally did, our run game went in the toilet too.

If Rodgers can't play next week, use Tolzien, sign somebody, just DON'T use Wallace again!

There is blame enough for just about everybody. If I would exempt anybody, it would be Lacy, Starks, and the Oline.

But I knew the game was lost when McCarthy did not challenge the Quarless catch on that 3rd down before the 1/2. That challenge would have moved the ball within FG range with a 1st down and possibly given Wallace some more confidence. It felt like not challenging that play knocked some life out of the offense. And they never got the ball back in the 1/2

I think the piss poor tackling is more to blame than Capers. The Packers had plenty of opportunity to get stops and tackled like a bunch of Pop Warner players. Even on the first touchdown they had an opportunity to sack their QB and failed to bring him down. On the last drive they missed more tackles than I care to count.

Raji was the only player to make any positive impact on defense tonight.

There are a lot of fingers to point. MM should have challenged the sideline catch - that is 100% on him. That would have kept the drive alive and in theory 3 or 7 on the board rather than a punt. Along with that - less time for the other guys to respond before half.

Why they abandoned the running game when it was the only thing that was consistant on offense is beyond me. I get that you can't run every play, but Wallace is not particularly good with a pass heavy offense. If he has to start next week, it would be wise to adjust to his strenghts (I don't really know what they are, but shotgun WCO surely isn't one of them.) I don't think he is a good fit for our team.

The pick was a boneheaded throw - receiver was covered fairly well and a guy with his arms up in your grill, should have been a no brainer.

Capers D was pretty mediocre - they looked like shit, but the offense wasn't doing them many favors either. They looked tired as hell in the 4th.

And dare I point out the many many holding calls blown that kept Forte on his feet? How many times did our D get held when they were otherwise about to make a play? This in particular is sickening!

It is obvious that Wallace was not prepared for this situation. I cannot say I would feel good about him starting if Rodgers has to miss any games even if he has more prep time. He made a couple of throws that were nice, but not enough to give anyone confidence.
