Capers D was pretty mediocre - they looked like sh!t, but the offense wasn't doing them many favors either. They looked tired as hell in the 4th.

I was more disappointed in our offense. Our defense had supposedly come together with all the injuries but did not show up at all tonight with pass rush. That being said, the offense did not sustain any drives and that falls on Wallace and the offensive coaching staff. The Chicago staff and McCown just made the Pack staff and Wallace look like amateurs.

Seneca Wallace was GARBAGE. There is no defending him. He friggin T.J. Rubley'd the Packers. Audibles out of a run on 2nd and 6 on Chicago's 35 and promptly threw an interception to a DL!!! Runs BACKWARDS like he's Deion Sanders and still doesn't throw the damn ball away? Slips and falls?

He is awful. I didn't see anything in his play that could encourage me that after a week of 1st rep snaps he'd be better. He looked like a High School kid.

Far too many pass plays called when Wallace came in, ice cold. Why? To me, that is what lost the game for us. We should have thrown Franklin into the mix and just pounded them on the ground all the way to the finish, with Lacy, Starks and Franklin. We would have won this game. Didn't happen. That's on McCarthy and his staff.

I do agree that our defense failed miserably.

I think we froze as a collective. I personally feel that whilst the run-pass ratio once Rodgers went down was congruent with our strengths, the passes within that ratio, coupled with Seneca's limitations aided the loss.

Not playing coach, but there are plenty of sub-branches of our offensive packages that can atleast partially negate the loss of our centerpiece.

For example? The screen game. I do not know if Franklin was suited up, but I think he would have been tailor made to the situation on hand.

Fast, agile guy catching out of the backfield for an ice cold quarterback who had no idea he'd be thrown in?

I think the lack of adjustments to the passing game (that's partly McCarthy's fault), ensured the Pack were not effective once the run began to slow down.

By the time we suit up against the Eagles, I hope to god there is a gameplan in place that aids the limitations of a backup.

RT @zachkruse2: Wallace completed only three passes traveling over 10 yards in the air vs. Bears and didn't attempt a single pass over 20.

Both QBs were weak armed journeymen.

McCown had the advantage of two weeks of preparation.
