Thers your biggest problem.

You have never and probably will never understand that players EARN their chance to be on an NFL team at OTA's, mini-camps, and most importantly in practice Monday Thru Fridays.

They play on Sunday, they work the rest of the time earning their money.

You judge guys(especially ones you don't want on the roster) by a play or 2 here and there.

As you have so often reminded us, Jarret Bush made a huge mistake in 2007 against Tge Giants.

That is all you ever remember him by, kind of glad he was on the field against The Steelers in Feb. 2010.

John Kuhn made a mistake, didn't cost The Packers a win, yet I look forward to you reminding us all of that mistake until he as every player EVER has done, leaves The Packers.

Figure it out!!!!!!!!

I still don't understand McGinn and this article at all. Kuhn makes one mistake, and I have a hard time remembering any other mistakes like that he has ever made, and he is lucky to not be cut? Wait, I do understand him. This year he said Kuhn was "allowed" to come back for the last year of his contract, nothing earned there. At any rate, no matter if you think a guy should be on the roster, a message of one mistake and you are lucky you didn't get sh!t canned is as silly as it gets.

I don't get the fascination with Kuhn. He is a marginal player making too much money who hasn't had proper competition brought into training camp to compete for his job. Now that we have a power back, wouldn't it be logical to have a real fullback making pancakes out there?

But MM also has talked a lot about consistency... and a lot of the players fans don't seem to get or understand why they're on the roster or getting paid too much in their minds are very consistent and have the trust of the coaches.

Ask any player, they will tell you, The 1st thing they have to learn is HOW TO BE AN NFL player, the second thing to learn is how to WIN as an NFL team.

Those 2 things don't magically happen, veterans have to pass on their knowledge. The good ones do it knowing they at some time will be replaced.

This is probably Kuhn's last year in Green Bay, he has been everything Mike and Ted wanted him to be.
Hopefully he can be a part of another Championship team, he deserves to be.

Championships aren't won by superstars, they are won bey putting together a solid 53 man roster who know how to grind out a 19-20 game season.

Now next year, Ted is gonna know what he has in Lacy, Franklin. even Starks and Harris, that is the time to put a FB on the ps or draft one late and let him develop.'

Ted does a real good job looking into the future, and bringing in an insurgent of youthful talent, while keeping the veteran leadership around.

The only problem is the past 2 or 3 years the injury bug has hit The Packers so hard, these young guys have had to grow up faster than they were suppose to.

Some make the transition fine, others it is going to take a little more time.

dfosterf (13-Aug) : a lower back injury
dfosterf (13-Aug) : Doubs says he's "fine" after injury scare. Some reported it as z
Mucky Tundra (13-Aug) : With LVN that is; need to see what happens in the next practice
Mucky Tundra (13-Aug) : beast, reading about what happened, it sounded like one of those "two guys collide and are moving slow afterwards" type of deals
beast (12-Aug) : I believe Musgrave has been injured every single season since at least a Sophomore in highschool
packerfanoutwest (12-Aug) : Matt LaFleur: “Highly unlikely” Jordan Love plays more this preseason
dfosterf (12-Aug) : Doubs, Savion Williams, LVN, Musgrave all banged up to one degree or another, missing one here I forget

beast (8-Aug) : But the Return from IR designations had to be applied by the 53 man cutdown.
beast (8-Aug) : It's a new rule, so it's not clear, but my understanding was that they could be IR'd at any time
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : *had to be IRed at 53
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : beast, I thought the designate return from IR players had to be IR at cutdowns to 53, not before
beast (8-Aug) : It's a brand new rule, either last season or this season, prior, all pre-season IRs were done for the season
beast (8-Aug) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
beast (8-Aug) : I think the NFL recently changed the IR rules, so maybe the season might not be over for OL Glover.
Zero2Cool (8-Aug) : Packers star Howton, first NFLPA prez, dies at 95 😔
dfosterf (8-Aug) : Apparently it is too complicated for several to follow your simple instructions, but I digress
