It was a good game. The Lions didn't lay down they fought all the way.
I was SO glad to see Rodgers get 4000, and Driver his 1000. Both deserved it.
28 TD;s and 13 int's. Not too bad for a 1st year starter.

Wow. This year, I got just about every Packers prediction wrong except for one:

I said Aaron Rodgers will be better than Peyton Manning in '08. 28 TDs/13 INTs vs 27 TDs/12 INTs for Manning, but Rodgers arguably had the better year - really good rushing stats. Manning had a much better OL. I don't think anyone with any brains would say the Packers' OL is any good.

I think our defense did pretty well today. They limited the Lions running "attack".

Congrats to Aaron! Our offense is in great shape - now if we can bolster that defense we should be all set for an entertaining 2009 season!

No, we need to get better on our first drives...Our offensive line needs some shoring up as well.

I think he will. If Mike McCarthy will let the kid throw the damn ball!!!

We don't agree on shit but i'm 100% with you on this one. We will have the lead by 3 with 8 minutes left and Rodgers sitting at 3999 and Mike McCarthy will call run plays for the rest of the game, Until we are down with 10 seconds left and Rodgers has to throw a hail mary.

+1 to you cheesey :thumbright:

btw the way did anyone else notice roddy oops i mean toddy thinks Rodgers would be benched which i think would be very stupid on Mike McCarthy's part causing more off season bs, and adding fuel to the fire.

whats Bretts rating last 5 or 6 games since your so hyped up on AR stats for last 5 mins?

BTW

Brett tossed an int with 502 to go

Statistically Rodgers has had an excellent season and I think it's safe to say he's an effective QB. I assume he'll play up to the caliber of a Matt Hasselbeck and a Mark Brunnell. Arguably he could be better.

Oh - I do agree with that! But even with our half - a$$ offensive line, they were able to score. So I'm hoping that OL gets shored up and the defense gets revamped.

14-3 is NOT a commanding league.

I find this typo amusing. I find it even more amusing that it took me this long to notice it.

And I hope I'm not the only one who was not surprised when the Lions came back from a 14-point deficit -- thereby proving my point.

At least for this team, no lead was safe this season.

You're half right. We were told at the beginning of the season that the line would give up more sacks this year because Rodgers was being instructed to take sacks rather than risking interceptions by attempting to force plays. That's exactly what has happened.
