What are your feelings on Johnny Jolly's performance this brief season?

Not too bad - he's had a couple good plays - daniels has seemed to do quite well. Suppose I am mixed but prob like him better then anyone else we might use; pickett raji daniels and jolly dont think anyone else is better then those 4 atm ...

I don't feel the stats necessarily show his impact. He has been solid thus far imo. I haven't seen him give up on any plays - unike some guys. He has always played like he has something to prove, and after his off field issues in the past - he DOES have a lot of reason to play well.

I am looking forward to seeing him the rest of this season with a belief that he will continue to get better. I am more than happy to see him back!

Unlike our QB, Jolly's job isn't to rack up stats.

It's to take up blockers so the LBs can make plays.

He's playing excellent. The defense is playing more physical and his presence against the run is making an impact. He was never much of a pass rusher, plus they rotate him out on passing downs, but he's having a good influence on this team.

The way he is playing. We don't need to look outside the organization to fill Pickett's shoes after this year.

I wouldn't expect him to be resigned being a FA after this year.

Datone seems to be coming along against the Bengals. I see some improvement. I think the guy was just overconfident coming off that Ankle injury. Not saying Franklin and him are in the same boat, but I think both of them humbled up a lot since the season started. More Johnathan than Jones, but I believe and have faith in the guy as a player.

Base Defense- Jolly/Pickett/Raji

I like our Defensive Line. I was totally wrong about Daniels, sorta how I didn't like Jennings. I thought they were too small, and the preaching in the offseason about getting bigger and stronger and faster, I just thought we should get rid of the smaller guys. But Daniels IS a strong, fast, and smart player that I'm really liking everytime I see him play. His height is a huge underestimation of the player he is. He is by far our "Cullen Jenkins" I might be going to far to compare him to our 2010 Jenkins, but I think the kid is coming along as a great ass player. If him and Jones continue to develop into pass rushers watch out opposing offenses!
