Revised:

2013 IR

OT B.Bulaga
WR Sederrick Cunningham
RB Du Juan Harris
WR Kevin Dorsey
LB Jarvis Reed

PUP LIST
J.C.Tretter
Jerel Worthy
Derrick Sherrod
Sean Richardson

Conditions/Events
Greg Jennings Leaves via FA gone to minny

J. Finley signs new contract(Packers pay bonus will play out contract

Charles Woodson restructures current contract....RELEASED
(signed 1 yr deal with Raiders)

Ted will NOT make any draft day trades or sign any big name FA.
(this was easiest predicition to make)

Currently I see 49 of the 53 spots taken, now there will be injuries during TC that will change that #, if Worthy and Sherrod are not ready that’s 2 more spots, if Finley do not come to some kind of agreement that’s 1 more.

So there could be as few as 4 and as many as 8 spots for Draft Picks, UDFA’s and FA signings to compete over at the beginning of TC.

Packers have 8 draft picks, I am not going to try and guess when and who but just going to take a shot at positions,

First round: No. 26 overall.........DE Datone Jones
Second round: No. 61...............RB Eddie Lacey(signed contract)
Fourth round: A -T David Baktiari(signed contract)
Fourth round: B - (moved to injury list)
Fourth round: C- RB Jonathan Franklin(signed contract)
Fifth round: A - CB Micah Hyde(signed contract)
Fifth round (compensatory): No. 167 DE Josh Boyd(signed contract)
Sixth round: A - LB Nate Palmer(signed contract)
Seventh round:A - WR Charles Johnson(Released)
Seventh round: B - WR Kevin Dorsey(IR)
Seventh round: No. 232 LB Sam Barrington(signed contract

Ted will draft:

1RB, 1FB, 1 C, 2 DLmen, 1 WR, 1TE and 1S

Ted Drafted 2RB's, 2OT's, 2 DE's, 2 WR's, 2 LB's, 1CB

The most important thing to happen(IMHO) is to set the O-line early in TC and keep those 5 guys together playing as 1 unit as much as possible.

O-line starters from L-R
Newhouse, Lang, Dietrich Smith, Sitton, Bulaga
now being reported

Running back DuJuan Harris, knee, the same knee that was injured early in training camp

Cornerback Casey Hayward, hamstring, the same hamstring that was injured early in training camp

Safety Morgan Burnett, hamstring

Linebacker Brad Jones, hamstring

McCarthy also informed that cornerback Jarrett Bush had suffered an ankle injury during practice this past week but hopes he’ll be practice during the upcoming week.

Well if these injuries are severe enough to cause these players to miss the next week, or more, this could change the makeup of the final 53 big time.

Harris is all but gone to IR.

Is this going to be another year of plugging in backup ILBr's to play alongside Hawk?

Hayward and now Burnette, who knows what The Packers will do if these guys can't play opening day, they are definatley going to be on the team, so could a couple of the young db's be kept instead of extra Te's, Wr's Lbr's?

Jarret Bush may be gone to ir if he can't get healthy, will be a big loss to Special Teams, but with all the other injuries, Mike and ted are gonna have to keep guys that do have better cover skills.

Glad my decisions don't matter, this is going to be a tough tough next 2 weeks.

Cuts have begun:

Wr's Omarius Hines, Alex Gillette & Justin Wilson
Qb Graham Harrell

No surprises here, Harrell was given every chance to show he could lead the team if needed.

I am betting he gets a shot in Buffalo, they are down to Bringing in Matt Lienhart to play QB

Add running back Angelo Pease and defensive tackle Gilbert Peña to the list of cuts.

Packers also sign an0ther Kicker.....Zach Ramirez(was with Seattle a player invite)

I guess neither Crosby or Tavecchio have impressed Ted.

Garth Gerhart
Loyce Means

Donte Savage
Chaz Powell
Kevin Hughes
Jake Stoneburner

Add RB DuJuan Harris to the list of players placed on IR.

Mike must really like Harris, placing him on IR, wanting to keep him around till next year.

They could have just worked out an injury agreement and said "thanks for playing"

Lacy, Franklin, Green, Kuhn now look to be locks, will be interesting to see if James Starks can get out of the dog house and make the team.

Could it be The Packers go with just 3rb's & 1fb?
Maybe Amosa has impressed enough to be added.

3RB's & 2 FB's not likely but we will see.

Amosa is still raw at FB position, but could contribute on ST's and

Most probably he will end up on PS, but as I said , wouldn't be surprised if he made the final 53 as 2nd FB.

If you'll recall, he was the star RB of TC up until a week or two ago. Then, he didn't get into the game until the 4th quarter. Sure, he fumbled, but he was already held out until the scrubs were playing.

I naturally just assumed they already knew what they had in Starks, and they wanted to get film on Lacy. But now everyone's saying starks "fumbled" to the bottom of the depth chart, and everyone's expecting him to be released.

It's not like he went 1.8 per carry or had negative per carry during the last game or anything.

dfosterf (16-Apr) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers

Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
