Green Bay - If you noticed that the snaps coming back to QBs Graham Harrell and Vince Young Saturday night were coming back a little bit slow when they were in the shotgun formation, you were not imagining things.
Backup C Greg Van Roten had some issues getting the ball back to the quarterback against St. Louis.
Van Roten is making the transition to center after playing left tackle in college and guard with the Packers most of last year. Part that transformation is learning how to snap to a quarterback 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage.
Several times Van Roten's snaps were either low or popped up in the air too much, delaying the time it takes the ball to get to the quarterback's hands.
