The legends of the Green Bay Packers are apparently so numerous, there are not enough streets with which to name them after.
The cities of Green Bay, Ashwaubenon and De Pere couldn't agree on a street to name after Mike McCarthy, the current Packers coach who directed the team to a Super Bowl triumph.
"What are we going to do? Change out the streets every 20 or 30 years because we have a new set of Packers that won? You can't name a street after anyone who wins a ballgame," Ashwaubenon village president Mike Aubinger told the Wall Street Journal.
Seven streets are named after Packers, including Donald Driver who had his street named this year.
Aubinger wants to put in a policy which would require a Packers player or coach to retire or die before a street naming.
