That is one thing about the stats they don't show everything. The team is scoring at about the same rate as last year. When looking at the Defensive and ST scoring. You have to look at when those scores were.
2 against Detoit when the team was already in the lead, and two against Indy again when the game was in the bag pretty much. Which also contributes to the fact the the team has out scored it opponents even with a losing record.
I have seen people complaining about the offense not controlling the time of possession. If you would give the offense another 9 possessions, how much greater would that stat be better.
The main thing is the offenses job is to score more than the D gives up and the Defenses job is to give up less points than the O is scoring. If either or both fail, then the team loses. This year has been a combination of both.
