The Packers have
Nelson, Jones and Cobb which are locks. But Jones is going into his contract year and might be gone next season.
(Jennings signed with the Vikings)
Then Boykin and Ross who both showed good potential but weren't amazing ether.
Boykins showed he could get a bit open and wouldn't catch it if the ball got close to him.
Ross shows a lot of speed and quickness and Mike McCarthy was using him a bit like Cobb towards the end and sounds like Mike McCarthy thinks Ross might be able to take Cobb off return duties. Seems like everyone remembers Ross fumbled one in the 49ers game... but Cobb fumbled two in the 49ers game so it's still possible Ross could be the return man going forward.
So is WR a draft need? And if so how badly?
