It's already started.
I listened to a Favre interview on "Mike and Mike in the Morning".
I know it's hard to believe, but he said, " I don't know if I'm going to be back next year".

With 2 games to go and the Jets destiny in their own hands as far as the playoffs go, he has already started.

I'm glad that BS won't be weighing on the Packers this year.
We have too many other issues to worry about this off season.

Part of this I blame upon the media.. they invoke this game now with the questions starting a few weeks ago already.

But Brett.. you refuse to learn from your past... zip the talk, simple "That will be decided upon after the season is complete" or "Not going there"...

Nope, just continue to wobble in front of the vultures.. they are looking for a quick meal.

I am so glad that we don't have to worry about that crap anymore. Media schmedia. Favre could easily squelch the whole story by refusing to hand out any crumbs to the journalists who ask him about it. But he enjoys the attention too much.

I sure am glad to, that The Packers don't have to worry about winning games and playing in the playoffs.

What a damn hassle it was to put up with a winning team.

Thank god that's over with!!!!

Brett is Brett, he has always been honest with his answers, he isn't going to change now.

The Media will always go after the soundbite so they can put Brett's picture on the TV screen and hope for higher ratings.

First of all, this has nothing to do with winning games. No one here says they didn't like Brett playing, they're just saying that they didn't like the off-season drama.

I, also, like his honesty. I also think the media will set him up in any way to get some higher ratings. I also think he's a proffesional player though and being nearly 40 year olds, he should've learned to work with the media a bit. Maybe not telling them anything and not letting the fans go to this rollercoasterride every off-season.

The MEDIA created the rollercoaster every year!!!!
Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy new it would happen, and oh by the way, BF has earned the right to decide anytime he wants whether he wanted to play or not.
Ted Thompson saw his chance to get rid of Brett and used it.

And yes this has everything to do with winning FB games.

It's a damn shame that Brett Favre could not finish his career as A Green Bay Packer!!!!!!

Hi Pack - Sorry for the absence. Been busier than ****.

Yes, part of this was the media doing anything for the story. Keep in mind these people who EXACTLY what to say to get people to talk. It's their job. They're good at it.

And part of it is because my beloved Brett Favre needs to learn to censor his mouth sometimes.

Good to see you Zombie..

Brett is honest, but all this does is put more pressure on him with more of the same questions.. not to mention the distraction and circus it creates..

But to be brutally honest.. if I walked in Brett's shoes or played ball professionally with the way I love the game.. I would be the same exact way.. it is an all in or out question, and something you will never get to go back and do again.

I would struggle with it.. that is why to a point I understand Brett's situation and cut him slack that some don't.

Hell after I got hurt, I took the WIAA to court to force them to allow me to play ball with an artificial leg.. I lost.. not because of liability to my injuries.. but instead to those I might inflict upon others.. one of the toughest times of my life. I loved that game and wanted to play that badly.. and worked my tail off to get physically ready to play.. albeit at a different position stuck on the line.

Yea, we have other things to think about. Like why we missed the playoffs after almost making the superbowl the previous year. Much more important things. Thank god we dont have to worry about the playoffs anymore. So happy

beast (12h) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (12h) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22h) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22h) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you
wpr (22-Jan) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (22-Jan) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (22-Jan) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
packerfanoutwest (21-Jan) : Zero, per your orders, check Bearshome, not packershome
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Then he'll land with another team and flourish.
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Ben going to Bears. He'll be out in 3 years.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jan) : what's so funny?
