why sit aaron. he has played better than the world expected in his 1ST year as a starting qb. the packers are 5-9 simply because they can't hold a 4th quarter lead.

You are correct.....our defense can't stop ANYONE.
Thats why we lost so many games. Had our D been able to hold the other team, we'd be in the playoffs this year.

If A) We are blown out and have very little chance, yes.
😎 Vice Versa of A.
C) If Aaron feels fine, and wants to play, then I see no reason this should be a matter of should he play or not.

Yup....i agree.
If we are being blown out, or blowing out the other team, then he can sit.
Otherwise, play!

What about just sitting Aaron for the last two games, or let him play the first half?

It makes sense on paper....

Nothing to play for but pride.

Chico is not 100%

Flynn needs game snaps.

Would be nice to see how Brohm has developed.

Your thoughts............

I want to sweep the Bears. It bothers me to no end that of our 13-3 season last year, 2 of our losses came from the Bears and the other one came from the Cows. You all have no idea how much I hate both of those teams. No idea.

So sure, for his health, let him sit the final game after the half. But whatever it takes to beat da Bears....

Rodgers needs to play at least the first half of each game. No matter what. He still has things to learn and the only way is on the fly.

I would like to see Brohm or Flynn gets some good game time snaps. Some real game experience for both would be nice for backup purpose and also for trades in the future.

If one of them could get to the state of Mark Brunell, and can find a trade partner that would be nice.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

Question for everyone? Do you think the coaches want to instill the feelings of giving up? If you sit your starting qb the final 2 games then thats what you would be doing. Giving up on your team and fans. He needs to play or i see the end of Mike McCarthy in green bay.

We don't want quitters on this team (referring to MM)
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

even though i don't think we should sit him, there's a BIG difference between quitting & protecting your qb. i don't think knowledgable fans would be unable to see the difference...then again?!?!? 😉

Protect him from what doing his job? In 2 weeks he will have a long off season to heal from any injuries. So what i think your getting at maybe we should have sat him in almost every game except for a few so Rodgers wouldn't take a beating.

beast (8-Jan) : I missed it, sorry, but he got into the NFL Hall of Fame years before that
Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : Jones took his sweet ole time!
Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : Yeah, he's in the ring of honor, just saw video and his name is up there
Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : Didn't they have a thing in 2023 for Jimmy's ring of honor? I swear I saw it
beast (8-Jan) : Though if they're legitimately trying to re-sign MM, then it makes sense.
beast (8-Jan) : Jerry Jones still hasn't put Jimmy Johnson in the Ring of Honor, but he's in the NFL's Hall of Fame, Jones is petty
Mucky Tundra (8-Jan) : Unless the Cowboys are planning an extension, seems kinda petty
beast (8-Jan) : Cowboys denied Bears request

Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Oh so the refs do know what intentional grounding is
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : what the hell was that Goff?! Not much pressure and he just air mails it to Harrison
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : They really need to to get rid of the auto first down for illegal contact
Martha Careful (6-Jan) : watching the Vikings and Lions it's understandable why they swept the Packers. So much better product
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Even when GB got pressure he was throwing darts; vs no pressure on that last pass he just air mails an open guy
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : didn't have guys in his face ... pressure makes difference
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Where was this Darnold vs GB?
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : BALL DON'T LIE
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : how was that not a safety? Goff throws it at an offensive lineman
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Zero, I thought that was a given! ;)
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Zero I looked through earlier and noticed the same thing. Bonkers year. I just wonder if beast put any money on games
