What about just sitting Aaron for the last two games, or let him play the first half?

It makes sense on paper....

Nothing to play for but pride.

Chico is not 100%

Flynn needs game snaps.

Would be nice to see how Brohm has developed.

Your thoughts............

Tough call. I really just base it on health. If he isn't healthy enough to play, then sit him. I will let the medical staff and coaches make that call. Otherwise, if the game goes out of hand then yeah give it to Flynn or Brohm. I fear their development though, because if the coaches have not been able to coach up the players who are playing, how can we expect these backups to be any different. We shall see... 🙂

For Rodgers health, I would absolutely agree with you. Since I am from Chicago and going to the last game of the season, I would have to disagree with you...haha.

I want the Packers to crush all chances of the Bears going to the playoffs. I also do not want the Packers to be the first team to lose to the Lions. Taking Rodgers out blows both of these chances.

Said it right after Sunday's game someplace on here.. if he isn't 100% then sit him for the remainder of the season and begin the healing process of his shoulder.

We have a large contract and the next couple years of the franchise tied to him.. if it isn't right the choice should be easy.

See what you have in Flynn and Brohm and get them some playing time and experience. Something tells me they will be the backups come next season again.. might as well season them.

Start tinkering with the Oline as well.

Playing in Chicago against a Bears team fighting for a playoff spot is priceless experience, in my opinion. And hell, both games are against divisional opponents he is going to play twice every year.

He needs to learn and get better. Play him.

Play him. These two last games are still important, playoffs or not. They're divisional foes, and I always want to sweep the Bears.

The kid's got all offseason to get his shoulder right, and I'd like to see him start every game this season.

That's like putting a butter bar in charge when you have an experienced 1st Lt. already running the platoon. No thanks... Sorry for what might seem like an esoteric analogy, but imo they are playing at my game, not the other way around.

I say no way. These players are warriors. They really are. They live and die with each win and loss. Benching Aaron, for whatever reason, cannot be a positive thing, especially at this early point in his career. For all the crap we heard before the season, i think it's important for him to actually play a full season. Whatever lingering injury he has, he'll have a full off-season to recover; an extra two weeks won't make a difference. Good question RP. I'm sure it will start some positive conversation, which was probably your intent. I hope you're doing well, bud.

Well if the Lt is recovering from injuries, say getting clocked over the head with a bottle of cold duck, and isn't 100% and may be risking additional injuries because of it.. well then on might reconsider the thought.

Especially if it is just a field drill verses marching in harms way.
