As we go about the business of solving the world's troubles, at least as how they relate to the Pack, I try and remind myself that all moves made by Ted Thompson and co. on my behalf involve many elements of risk and are chock-full of some uncontrollable variables.
The possible aquisition of Haynesworth and/or Peppers is an excellent example. Will we see "payday syndrome" from Haynesworth? Does his VERY DIRTY semi-assault reflect a lack of character? Etc. etc. etc.
Then there is the problem of the primary alternative. I'm not going to go through and rehash some arguments I have already made, but the short version is that there is a very strong possiblity...more likely than not.... the absolute BEST draft prospect we can obtain will be NO BETTER, and probably WORSE than Justin (to date, mostly) bustin' Harrell at DT.
I have 5 THREADS up here to discuss the offensive line and the ZBS. Not posts....threads. The reason is because I nominated myself as designated bitcher about the offensive line. The reason I did THAT is because Pack93z seemed to be entering the psychotic mode as contrasted to my mere neurotic mode  when this question arose. Pack93z moved on to linebackers, and I personally invite someone and/or everyone to start an analysis of the defensive line.
Don't confuse this post with me trying to tell anyone what to do. I'm merely pointing out (as I did in my first ZBS thread) that I was attempting to break down the ZBS into various parts in order that those who do not fully understand just exactly what the hell it is could get a better appreciation of what the hell many are bitching about...with a further hope that those that understand it better than I would also interject their thoughts ... so I INVITE all to GO BACK and read and/or comment upon the various threads. They are easy to spot when you go back in pages. I also INVITE those that wish to continue to OPINE upon the defense to open a new thread. I'm not doing it , because , well, because I am aware of my "semi-bossy" nature, and am trying to "Cut-back", so to speak.
