This is getting old.

If you've got a remedy for the D giving up game killing drives in the late 4th Quarter, then by all means share them with us....

My point being what else do you expect McCarthy to say? He'll fire the DC with 2 games left? Our D can't stop anyone worth a lick? We have to go out there and fight until we win?

It's pretty much the same old story, which really has no easy remedy.

Just need another training camp and better personel decisions from there. At this point there is literally nothing we can do.

Rodgers is not 0-6 in games decided by 4 points or less. The Green Bay Packers are 0-6 in games decided by 4 points or less. I'm not saying that he doesn't get some blame, but it is truly unfair to put games on one person when it was obviously a team effort.

I wish everyone would stop calling for McCarthy's head. He's not the one that dropped that pass, or the one that hasn't been executing plays, or the guys on defense that probably couldn't even stop the Lions.

Really, I mean, if he has one bad year, you don't need to fire him. Look at Jeff Fisher's team. It's horrible how head coaches get fired every time a team messes up. So STOP calling for McCarthy to get fired.

Jesus Christ, people.

Getting a pass rush has now surpassed stopping the run as our biggest problem, in my opinion.

Regardless of Rogers numbers and rating he simply has failed to make a 4th quarter comeback. After today we'll be 0-6 on games decided by 4 points or less. Until he can overcome that we're screwed.

I'm sorry....but thats rediculous. He gave us the lead with 5 minutes left, and ONCE AGAIN our defense can't stop ANYONE when the games on the line. Plus, as was already stated, Grant dropped a pass that probably would have given us a bigger lead. (Which of course our defense would have lost to anyway)

What i DO have a problem with is the damn play calling. It SUCKED.
Mike McCarthy needs to get someone to call the plays, and a NEW d-coordinator.
Otherwise we will never get any better then we are now.

for the first time this season, i completely agree that playcalling SUCKED royally!!! whomever is responsible needs the axe - NOW!! i'm usually calm & level headed but this game showed so many glaring errors, it's beyond ridiculous!!

I do believe Mike McCarthy calls the OFFENSIVE PLAYS!!!!

"buckeyepackfan" wrote:

IF you wanna get all technical, technically McCarthy selects a pass/run play option, which Aaron Rodgers actually decides on based on his read of the opposing D.

I'm not saying McCarthy has been right all along. Hell with the season on the line against the Panthers, and again today on 4th and 1, he gave the ball to Khun.

Put it in the hands of your QB, Rodgers. He's shown himself to be capable of making plays, picking up first downs, making good decisions. That's a mistake, the second time, by McCarthy.
