Regardless of Rogers numbers and rating he simply has failed to make a 4th quarter comeback. After today we'll be 0-6 on games decided by 4 points or less. Until he can overcome that we're screwed.

I'm sorry....but thats rediculous. He gave us the lead with 5 minutes left, and ONCE AGAIN our defense can't stop ANYONE when the games on the line. Plus, as was already stated, Grant dropped a pass that probably would have given us a bigger lead. (Which of course our defense would have lost to anyway)

What i DO have a problem with is the damn play calling. It SUCKED.
Mike McCarthy needs to get someone to call the plays, and a NEW d-coordinator.
Otherwise we will never get any better then we are now.

I'm not saying he's the one to blame or else I would have said HES 0-6. I say "we're" probably should have said the Packers are 0-6. We have problems on both sides of the ball. Our D can't make a stop to save their lives.

When we need Rodgers under 2 mins to make something happen he seems to crumble. Our D is allowing way to many points to be scored but he's gotta be able to make a comeback when we need him to. He's still green and I didn't expect him to take us to the SB this year. However sooner rather than later he's got to be able to get us in the endzone under 2mins.

Our D shouldn't be allowing us to be in this situation week end and week out. I'm not blaming any SINGLE person like I said he's gotta flip that switch and be able to take this team on his shoulders and get the W under 2 mins. Yet our D HAS TO STOP putting him in this situation almost every week.

Damned if you do, damned if you dont.

And what happens if Grant actually catches that sure TD pass? Rodgers can do a lot of things but he can't pass/run block and catch the ball as well.

I'm listening to Mike McCarthy's postgame interview on TMJ right now. Same old same old. "We gotta run downhill, gotta study the film"etc.

This is getting old.

I am really angry at the whole team. I really hope they at LEAST have enough talent and head strength to beat the Lions this year. Seriously...

Good thing the Steelers didn't fire Cowher after going 7-9 and 6-10 in back to back seasons. Sometimes you have bad years. If this team was getting its ass handed to them every game and wasn't even competitive then I would agree that we need to change the front office and or the coach. However, we have lost games simply due to a porous defense and this is the first season of McCarthy's tenure that this has occurred. Give the team the chance to better themselves next year and if it proves that they aren't capable of taking this talented team to the playoffs then I would understand and agree with removing him of his duties.

I do believe Mike McCarthy calls the OFFENSIVE PLAYS!!!!

"all_about_da_packers" wrote:

IF you wanna get all technical, technically McCarthy selects a pass/run play option, which Aaron Rodgers actually decides on based on his read of the opposing D.

I'm not saying McCarthy has been right all along. Hell with the season on the line against the Panthers, and again today on 4th and 1, he gave the ball to Khun.

Put it in the hands of your QB, Rodgers. He's shown himself to be capable of making plays, picking up first downs, making good decisions. That's a mistake, the second time, by McCarthy.

"buckeyepackfan" wrote:

Get technical if you want, Packers are 5-9 and out of the playoff hunt, changes need to be made, this team has too much talent to be losing week in week out.
Losing breeds losing, I just don't want to relive the 70's & 80's.
