It irks one to see totally unwarranted comments like this from someone who doesn't know what he's talking about and obviously didn't do any homework. Best to just ignore it those people don't change. Being a jerk must run in the family, like Sterling holding out right before the opener.

Personally and honestly, there are times that I think Rodgers is tap dancing along the line of what to say verses not to say on the public stage.. most notably about the "disrespect". I love that it feeds his drive.. most ultra competitive people are like that, there are things that burn you internally. But speaking of it time and time again.. why? Makes you come off as a whiny little prick that can't handle criticism, especially at times when that criticism is warranted. But alas he is a Quarterback so some of that is to be expected I guess, comes with the position.

Torch them on Sundays with your passes and use your wit in the press a little more effectively.

It is time to put the "disrespect" to bed. It getting as old as Favre's retirement. Although many players would respond similarly in interviews. It's those big egos. Of course, that's one of the things that makes them great in many cases.

Oh.. and I need to add.. that Shannon Sharpe is a cocky loud mouth punk.. seems educated but comes off Bradshaw type dumb at times.

Do we really care what Mush Mouth Sharpe has to say? Putting a Hall of Fame player on color commentary that has a serious speech impediment is not in our best interest as fans. Thanks NBC, you rock!

I think we are going to see a jacked up Aaron Rodgers for the rest of the season, so thank you ass munches for reminding our great QB that he still has to prove it every game.

He was hired to make these types of comments so he does.

Rodgers responds.. PC with a bit of an edge.

“I didn’t hear some of it until after the game, to be honest with you,” Rogers told Jason Wilde of ESPN Milwaukee, via SportsRadioInterviews.com. “In this country, I think freedom of speech is a very important part of our culture. That being said, anybody can have an opinion about anything regardless of how stupid it might be, or uninformed. There are often stories out there that have very little truth to them; that are based on feelings or images that you want to conjure up or situations that you think you understand when you really don’t. I think more than anything this week, one reminder that Mike (McCarthy) and I talked about was just controlling the things that you can control. We’ve had a lot of adversity around here in my fifth year starting.”

Rogers called out Sharpe and others. “It’s easy to criticize. Maybe some of these people have been waiting to criticize us after the success we’ve had, whether they have personal vendettas against myself, or Mike or our team. A team failing that is supposed to win is a lot easier of a story to write than a team that’s supposed to win that is meeting expectations.”
