This was said on CBS before the afternoon games were played this past Sunday.

I think they have some deeper issues, but let's get to the surface issues right now. They can't run the football, so that puts a lot of pressure on Aaron Rodgers and that poor offensive line. Aaron Rodgers doesn't always do a great job of getting rid of the football on rhythm. So now he's taking some unnecessary sacks. But what I see is a lot of finger pointing by Aaron Rodgers. I don't really know Aaron Rodgers, haven't been around him. But he strikes me as a guy that, it's always someone else's fault other than his own. I'm not so sure, I'm not so sure, that deep down inside, how well his receiving corps really likes Aaron Rodgers.

I tell you what else, just because you're a great quarterback and an MVP quarterback that doesn't make you a great person. There is a difference between the two.

I think you're alluding to the fact that Jermichael Finley said they're not on the same page. If you're the starting quarterback in the NFL, and one of the great ones of this era, like Aaron Rodgers is, you have to stay above the noise, the fray. You don’t have to worry about loud mouth tight ends spouting off to the media and all this stuff. The fact of the matter is, their defense last year was plus-24 in turnover ratio. This year they are minus-one. I know one thing. He will throw at least 50 times tonight in order to beat the Houston Texans. My sense is there is a ton of pressure on him right now because he doesn't have all of those pieces that he had around him last year healthy and effective.

Dear Shannon,

Please keep your big mouth open and spouting such drivel.

If what it takes to get Rodgers back to his destroying-everyone mode is having you speak your know-nothing stuff all the time, this Packer fan is willing to let you do it.

Besides, I never listen to NBC's talking headless morons anyway.

Most sincerely,

A Packer Fan

Shannon Sharpe is racist.
Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another. -Vince Lombardi

Actually, keep talking Shannon Sharpe. Keep hurling the insults.

I think there may be something to Dan's "Chip on our shoulders" thread.

Lol @ Boomer's response adding "loud mouth tight ends"

Most of the time these guys are talking out of their asses just trying to stir something up. If there is nothing of relevance (which there should be this season), something like this is brought up. Half the guys sitting behind those desks shouldn't be.

Clearly.

From the article posted in Rodgers: "I'm not playing my best"

“My solemn promise is I’m going to work every day to get better. I’m going to clean up some of the things I’m not doing as well as I should. But, the proof is in the pudding. Right now I’m not getting it done. I’ve got to look at myself first,” Rodgers said.

...really smacks of someone pointing the finger elsewhere, don't it?

Shannon Sharpe was HIMSELF an overrated, loudmouth TE.
