I'm very sorry to read what you're going through. It sounds as if you're a close family. I hope everything goes peaceful.

Jeremy there are no words of comfort or solace that I can offer that will make this any easier. I wish that there were.
Do not concern yourself with how you react, as in each of us is our own unique spirit and soul that guides us.

Both of my parents have been gone for some time now, but rarely a day goes by that I do not think of them.

I know what you are saying about seeing your father that way. My father had a massive stroke when I was only 32. To see him in that hospital bed not being able to move or communicate in any way was one of toughest things for me.
I still remember those blue eyes looking at me and me wondering "Dad, can you understand me? Can you hear me?"

Even after all these years, there are still times that I look at one of his pictures and talk to him.

So for now I will leave you with some words that were spoken to me at my fathers bedside by one of my uncles.
"Honor your father by being the very best man that you can be."

My thought and prayers are with you and all of your family my friend.

It's finally official. Daddy passed away this morning at 10:15. He's probably hugging and loving on his Mom and Dad as I type this. Thank you all for being patient with me. I appreciate all your thoughts, prayers, and great words for/to him and the family.

Very sorry for your loss. I know it was difficult being there watching, but from someone who wasn't able to for their parent, its better to have been able to say that final goodbye. Again, very sorry to hear this.

I know it is for the best (his not ours) but it is still sad to hear this.

That you took the time to post here today or this week is an amazing thing.

If we were able to give you even a little bit of help during these long dark days then this site and Kevin's efforts has not been in vain.

Jeremy......i wish i knew what to say.

I'm sitting here in the library....people on both sides of me....and i'm tearing up. Trying not to start bawling.
I can honestly say, i feel what you are going through, and wish i could take the pain FOR you.

A poem that I found very fitting:

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around you and whispered “come to me.”
With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

Thank you all.

Mucky Tundra (3-Jun) : @ByRyanWood How much did the injury affect him last fall? “A lot.”
Mucky Tundra (3-Jun) : @ByRyanWood Kenny Clark said he had foot surgery in January. Injured his foot in opener against Eagles and played through it all year.

Mucky Tundra (28-May) : And don't even get me started on Frank Caliendos "impersonations"
Mucky Tundra (28-May) : I got tired of them being circle jerks with them overlaughing at each others jokes.

Mucky Tundra (28-May) : I haven't watched the pregame shows in years and I don't feel like I've missed a thing
Zero2Cool (28-May) : Love says knee affected him all season, groin injury didn't help matters.
