UPDATE, 6:27 P.M. ET: The Packers have announced that they cut Hargrove, as well as WR Andrew Brewer, S Micah Pellerin, T Herb Taylor and CB Dion Turner.

That means they like someone else better, even after the suspension.

I'm just not quick to say they liked someone more because there are a lot of variables involved.

    🤷

The NFL allows players to serve suspensions while they’re not on a team, so Hargrove can sit out the first eight weeks of the season, then sign with some team and start playing once the season is halfway over. It seems unlikely that any team would sign Hargrove until he has served the suspension.

I'm blindly believing that to be true, lol.

Hargrove was probably signed for insurance in case Worthy and Perry couldn't get it done. From what I watched last night, we have a pass rush, rendering Mr. Cheap Shot expendable.

I think it was simple because Hargrove was looking bad in his very limited snaps... I don't think it had to do with political or money... just like the other guys cut haven't looked too good ether.
