I don't know I still hate Edgar Bennett for leaving the Packers and going to the Bears, what a trader. I will never forgive him for that.
What I don't understand is why so many people are butt hurt that Favre went to the Vikings? After all those same people were calling for him to retire because he didn't have it anymore. Yes I understand he wiggled his way around the huge stipulation that Ted Thompson put out there to prevent him from coming back to play the Packers. Ted Thompson was just as dirty in this as was Favre. As was stated so many times, why not just release Favre and let him decide his fate, but no Ted Thompson had to try and have the last word by trading him. But in the end Favre got his way and went to his best chance at going to another Super Bowl (only if he would have just thrown the ball away or just got on the ground). I have no hard feelings towards him and I am grateful he helped build back the Packer name.

Nothing you say matters, they are right, they will spew out pages of stats, articles and quotes to prove their point.
At some point, and I'm not sure when it actually happened, being a Packer fan went from, backing your team no matter how good or bad, no matter who played, 100%, to supporting the guys on the team they deem acceptable and berrating and sometimes just downright hatred of players they deem unnaceptable.
I, myself hate what has become of the once "Greatest Fan base in History", IDK, maybe time has passed me by.
I agree with you about Brett Favre, when he was with The Packers, I couldn't wait for the next game, because no matter what the outcome, you just knew Brett was going to be a big part of it, because he played with passion that very few ever did.
Again, that history has all been re-written, so I guess I was being scammed by Brett all those years.
I have never seen eye to eye with you on your views of Ted Thompson, but have always respected your opinion.
There were plenty of nay-sayers those first few years of his tenure, especially in 2008, when The Packers went 6-10. I do think you will agree that what Ted has done in Green Bay has been successful, the road was not an easy one, he made some tough decisions, but they have seemed to be the right ones.
Looking back, with the way things ended up in 2008, straight out releasing Brett Favre might have been a better decision, the circus would have never come to town, the media distractions would not have been there, and as it turned out, if I remember right, The Vikings won the division that year anyway.
But for some to keep backing Ted, there had to be a bad guy, and Brett Favre was that guy, don't get me wrong Brett didn't help himself any in some of the things he said, in the end he lost the "battle of popular opinion"
It is real easy to go back and play Monday Morning GM. So I will leave it at that.
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!
