My feeling on Murphy departing is a gigantic yawn. Finding another person whose primary roles are PR and interacting with Goodell's office and other lawyers for a seven figure salary -- this is not going to be particularly hard to do.
Murphy IMO is a corporate executive. A good one, to be sure, but good corporate executives with legal savvy are a lot more plentiful that the dipshit execs who make the news would suggest.
Not calling for his replacement -- but if he moves on, it's not going to be a big thing.
Unless you lack confidence in the Executive Committee's ability to avoid the dipshit candidates.
