While I'm not buying into any actual explanation, I think it's pretty obvious 9/11 didn't go down as the US goverment said it did. Now I'm not saying it's definitely and inside job. I'm just saying what they said happened, couldn't have happened in my opinion.

The whole thing was just a massive sosiaali conspiracy. George Bush and the Republicans contracted with Industrial Light & Magic (with Big Oil funding) in order to scam the entire world just so they could get political backing for the Dept of Homeleand Security.

It is all very disgusting when you think about it, but ILM did put on one hell of a show. It all looked so real at the time.

I believe everything that happened up to and including 9/11. But since that day we've been lied to and manipulated 100 different ways. We weren't even allowed to know why it happened. We weren't even told that Osama Bin Laden himself said that the reason for 9/11 was the continued presence of American troops in Saudi Arabia and our refusal to legitimize Palestine. But the bigger tragedy, IMO, was that 9/11 was used as an excuse to invade Iraq, station even more troops in the middle east, make big government even bigger, and empower them to take away more and more of our privacy and our freedoms so that we can have the illusion of safety.

The illusion of safety. The idea that we are somehow more protected from poor, minor countries half a world away, whose only beef with the U.S. is that we've been meddling in their affairs for 70 years or so. Don't believe the bullshit we've all been fed for the last 12 years - they don't hate us because we're infidels, or because we're decadent, or because we're free. They hate us because we won't stop trying to control their lives.

Serious question: Who are we to tell any sovereign nation what they can and can't do? What gives us the right to do that? What gives us the right to say who can and who can't develop nuclear technology, or use a different form of government, or trade whatever they have freely with whomever they want?

We don't have those rights. We never did. But the American people have been made to believe we do. That these things need to be done. That the rest of the world is too backward to know what's best for them, too immature to play with such dangerous toys. It's all one big, steaming pile of bullshit. The real game to turn our planet into the United Earth of America. We've got 60,000+ armed troops in 900 bases in 130+ countries all over the world. Why? Because they need us there? Because they want us there?

And the worst part of all is that we Americans just gobble it up. It's natural to want to believe that those in charge know what they're doing and have our best interests at heart. So we do. We believe whatever is shoveled in our general direction. People have grown too lazy and too complacent to take off the red, white and blue blinders once in a while and really see what's going on here. The government doesn't care about our welfare. The government only cares about our votes and our taxes. And they'll do anything and say anything and promise everything to get them.

God dammit. It's not 10 a.m. yet and I already need a drink...

Imagine how quickly we could pay off our national debt if we weren't floating our imperialistic military empire all over the world? And this is not a partison argument either, Democrats want that military all over the world just like the Republicans.

We need a strong military to prevent other countries from attacking us. It's the same reason i keep a loaded gun in the house. I HOPE i never have to use it, but need it even ONCE, and NOT have it, and you are screwed.
I don't agree with being the "police of the world though. Although, there are nut jobs like the north korean leader that just died, and the nut case that runs Iran right now.
Does anyone REALLY want nut cases like that having the ability to launch nukes????

You know that prior to the Japanese bombing Pearl Harbor, there were plenty of people "crying" how it was none of our business getting involved with what Adolph Hitler was doing.
Maybe if someone would have had the balls to do something earlier, millions of innocent people wouldn't have been murdered by that monster.

Do we really need a strong military? Who's gonna attack us? The Canadians?

I think the best model is Switzerland. Neutral in every war and the average family has a machine gun. How many times has Switzerland been conquered?

The problem is where we stick our nose Cheesey, the Afghan have been fighting for hundreds of year but yet we think we can go there and fix it? The part that really pisses me off is going to war in Iraq and then building up their country better than most of our country and not getting anything for it.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

dfosterf (26-Jun) : I think it would be great to have someone like Tom Grossi or Andy Herman on the Board of Directors so he/they could inform us
dfosterf (26-Jun) : Fair enough, WPR. Thing is, I have been a long time advocate to at least have some inkling of the dynamics within the board.
wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
Zero2Cool (24-Jun) : Yawn. Rodgers says he is "pretty sure" this be final season.
Zero2Cool (23-Jun) : PFT claims Packers are having extension talks with Zach Tom, Quay Walker.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jun) : GB-Minnesota 2004 Wild Card game popped up on my YouTube page....UGH
beast (20-Jun) : Hmm 🤔 re-signing Walker before Tom? Sounds highly questionable to me.
