TT will trade away our 1st and 2nd to the browns for their 1st and 2nd round picks next year. We have no holes on our team after all we were 15-1 in the regular season 🙂

BTW if Ted Thompson actually did that I would be happy with it. We could almost move up to the Patriots league on how every year they end up with like 3 or 4 picks in the 1st 2 rounds.

When you have a team like we do you don't skip a year's crop of talent(especially this year's at DE and OLB) to build up for the next year.

Hopefully Collins will be back too, plus Burnett and Shields will have an "offseason in the program."

I don't think we're far away from dominance.

There are guys on the team that can still develop. James Harrison took quite a while before catching on with the Steelers. In addition to the other 3, Vic So'oto has shown a lot of raw talent. It is possible he is the guy to step up.

There are also going to be some higher value picks at DT later in the draft because that is one of the deeper positions this year. We are not likely to find a good safety in the first 2 rounds.

No way we were two plays away and no way Collins coming back fixes the holes we have in our pass rush and tackling issues.

Two plays away? I say two players away. C Jenkins and Nick Collins was the difference between the elite 2010 squad and the mediocre 2011 squad.

I see Fletcher Cox and Konz both falling in the first round in mock drafts and would be ecstatic to get either. But if both are gone, either OLB form Illinois or Clemson would be adequate. We need a starter out of that pick though, and it can be at either C, OLB, DE, or Safety - I really don't care.

To appease Zero I think we will take the best OLB or DE available first whether that is Perry, Brown or someone else.

Aside- coltonja really missed the "a game" portion of sinister's post, but he will not apologize or recant.

Jerel Worthy if he is there.. Peter Konz is another choice. Personally I would like to shore up our interior pressure on defense... Worthy would do that.. not a ever snap player but a beast of a player. Raji and him paired up.. ouch.

Then Worthy went and had a great pro day.. screwed it up possibly. lol.
