Did anyone else understand the whole no huddle O? I didn't think it was working very well.

1 - Dom is over the hill. He was a great DC. Giving credit where it's due. But no longer. Thanks for 2010 though.

2 - NEVER again rush 3

3 - Finley needs to go. After we trade off Finley, 🇲🇲 needs to tell our players that drops won't be tolerated and Finley is no longer a Packer because of his drops. Send a message.

4 - As everyone else has said, another pass rusher. He either needs to come from the middle like Cullen Jenkins or opposite CM3.

OL is getting better, but keep drafting. We saw that injuries happen and it would be nice to have more depth at OL.

And yes, it seemed like we were watching the 80s Chargers today. In the Playoffs, defense needs to step up. It didn't.

I think MM should put an end to the whole dancing after first downs with the pointing for the first down. It's annoying and cocky. I hated the Giants every time they did it and then I saw us doing it and I hated it just as much.

Of course, the players were playing executing and playing disciplined. Capers is fine. Hell, the fact he was able to make our run D that good over a couple of weeks shows he still has value, and this Defensive staff is pretty good.

Capers' adjustments were also not bad. Bush as Nickel back? I was skeptical, but it paid off mostly. He can make subtle adjustments that lead to improved results.... he is far from done.

2 - I can understand the idea behind it: making sure you don't give up big play, clogging the passing lanes, keeping completions in front of players to they can be in better position to make tackles. Hell, this very strategy employed by the Giants played a part in keeping the Packers from getting too many big plays.

I too am miffed, though, why he would attempt that when the pass-rush never had a chance to get home. Maybe he thought some miracle would occur and one of the three rushers would get pressure? Maybe the alternative - blitzing - meant exposing the secondary to communication breakdowns? I'm willing to listen to Dom's reasoning before I think one way or the other... but this had me miffed also.

3 - By that same logic, we could make an example of Greg Jennings, who dropped a TD pass. Frankly, I'm not sure Finley deserves to be credited with as many drops people think he had... at the very start of the game he dropped one after getting an illegal hit. Another he missed on third-down, but Rodgers led him too much; I'd blame Rodgers for a bad pass more than Finley for the drop.

Finley was benched for a bit in the first half after his less than stellar start. In such a big game, if that does not send a message, I don't think not re-signing him will. Frankly Finley needs to be more focused and work to get on the same page with A-Rod. If this means he has to stay with A-Rod at his off-season home the entire off-season, so be it. It is important these two know what the other is thinking.

4 - This, without a doubt, has to be the biggest priority of the off-season. If Neal pans out and returns to rookie form, great. But presume Neal will not, and fix the pass-rush!

We were moving the ball pretty damn well; I'd say that means we were in good rhythm.

Unfortunately, turnovers and drops killed us.

Rodgers fumbled (great play by Osi, but Rodgers rarely gives opponents the chance to have a fumble), Grants fumbles, Kuhn fumbles, misses Greg for a potential TD to open the game, misses Finley for a first-down on a key drive...

Unless McCarthy specifically called plays with the intent of these things happening, you cannot blame him. I have never heard of a head coach telling his players to intentionally play terrible.

I would have loved for our O to play better. In fact, they should play better; but every offense is going to have a bad day or two. Even the Saints, for all their weapons, have struggled a game or two. You expect your defense to be able to step up and generally play solid. Unfortunately, that was too much to expect from our defense.

Our loss was a disappointment, but should not have been unexpected.

I don't see how you can possibly question McCarthy. He was great all year and I don't see where he did anything wrong in this game...

Last year, the Packers were excellent tacklers. Clay Matthews' sacks were a joy to watch because they were textbook wrap-ups.

Aside from he and Woodson, the entire defense forgot how to fucking tackle, and I demand to know what made the entire defense decide that shoulder presses are better. Had we been better at TACKLING, our defense wouldn't be so goddamn bad.

Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
