Anyone more familiar with a "broken leg" know if it will have any long-term implications career-wise for Sherrod? I sure hope not, but a nasty leg break seems like it could be potentially career threatening. Someone tell me otherwise!

Wow, that's great news. I wasn't aware of that. Although I guess it depends on exactly what bone (s) are broken and how bad. At the very least, I'm sure this will hinder his development. ::sigh::

But from what I've heard, Nerd is right. His season's over but he'll return 100% next year most likely.

Yeah, Finley's drops are a real head scratcher. No doubt in my mind he's still a Top 10 TE in the league, but he's not as good as Gronkowski or Graham. Could be be playing a little scared since coming back from that knee injury last season? I suppose anything is possible, but I really hope Rodgers and his receivers really buckle down this week and work on their catches outdoors. It's been pretty mild for this time of the year so far and it's only going to get colder as we get into January and the ball gets even harder to catch.

I wouldn't mind seeing Gurly activated, but in all honesty, with Sherrod out for the year and potentially not having Bulaga for this game and Clifton probably still at least a week away from playing a game, my guess is they'll activate T Chris Campbell of the practice squad for depth.

Finley didn't take offense when it was suggested that a player of his caliber is supposed to make spectacular catches look almost routine and routine catches automatic.

At least he's owning up to his mistakes. See, he's not really a hot head like many of you think.

There is more of a need to activate some O-line warm bodies rather than activate Gurley.

According to Packers News, Derek had to have emergency surgery in KC to insert a rod in his leg because they were clean breaks of both his tibia and fibula.

Am I the only not ready to give up on Finley? The guy is a freak athletically and has had some great games. I also don't think he's completely to blame either. I think Rodgers has gotten used to Finley as a big target and throws him a lot of passes that aren't easy to catch. Of course a few of his drops are dumbfounding.

I know he's cost us some points, but it might be for the best in the long run because we'll be able to resign him to a reasonable long-term deal.
