As for my questioning ... I thought a running back included halfback (e.g. James Starks) and fullback (John Kuhn). That was just my thinking and it's probably wrong.
Edit, looked up the definition of running back. (yes, until I find out if I have that new job, I have nothing on my plate, so I'm bored)

An offensive player, typically a halfback, who specializes in carrying the ball.Under that definition, I don't believe a fullback would be considered a running back because their specialty is blocking, not carrying the ball.
