How'd that new guy Allen do for us? I only caught the first half..

Allen got in on one or two plays. Nothing special. Another DT, Malone, got a nice pressure at the end that forced an incompletion and pretty much sealed the win.
I watched the game again, and a few other things stood out to me:
1. Desmond Bishop stuffed two running plays at the line of scrimmage, delivering a huge hit on one of them. Hodge had a quiet game and only got in on one play that I could see.
2. The new TE, Jeremichael Finley, got several snaps with the first offense and had a nice catch and run in which he broke a tackle.
3. One time on a 3rd and 7, the Packer defense went with just two linemen, both ends, and they blitzed three linebackers up the middle. The Denver QB, Patrick Ramsay, was pressured immediately and had to throw the ball away. I'm not sure if the Packers would try this in a real game, as it could be risky. An audible to a running play could result in a big gain up the middle.
4. Aaron Rouse had two big tackles near the line of scrimmage to shut down one Denver possession. But then, we've come to expect this from him, haven't we? He did give up a first down on a pass play, though. He was playing too deep. I'm not sure if it was completely his fault or if a linebacker was supposed to cover the short route.
EDIT: I also noticed that on the one sack, which happened when Tauscher got beaten cleanly off the edge, Rodgers was unable to step up because Daryn Colledge basically escorted his man into Rodgers' lap.
