There is no logical reason in the world to trade for a decrepit Al Harris when there are dozens of young defensive backs in the league who would have so much more to offer the Packers than he could. He wasn't even that great while he was a Packer. His career was significantly extended by having the privilege of playing across from Charles Woodson. Al Harris was always a player of questionable mental skill set. Get him pissed off and he was virtually worthless. (See: NFC Championship Game.) His departure was no great loss and bringing him in now would do little to nothing to improve the performance of this defensive unit. In my opinion, it would make them worse.
