(Even though I know the Packers will not contribute in any type of trades) The whole Mike Neal injury really bothers me because I feel like we really do not know what is going on with this injury. We dropped Jenkins because this kid was supposed to be just as good, maybe better and now our pass rush is mediocre because he hasn't played a down of football.
With that being said, it would be nice if the Pack were able to go out and snag a decent DT/DE for a low return to help this defense in the short run.

At 6-0, Thompson will not feel the urge to trade. So I predict --> NO ACTIVITY.

The health of Mike Neal makes a difference here I think in Thompson's mind. I think he feels we get by with what we have at the other positions. Perhaps he feels that way about DE especially with Wynn and Wilson playing well.

One for sure.. Two possible first round picks for Carson Palmer.

Nuts! I would have rather got Matt Flynn. QUESTION.. Would you have traded Matty for the Raiders first rounder in 2012?

Matt Flynn for 2012 Raiders 1st round... Yes. I believe the Raiders have more of a vertical passing game and I don't think Flynn has the arm for it. The 1st round compensation for Flynn is about 3 or 4 rounds too high I think.

William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.

There is no logical reason in the world to trade for a decrepit Al Harris when there are dozens of young defensive backs in the league who would have so much more to offer the Packers than he could. He wasn't even that great while he was a Packer. His career was significantly extended by having the privilege of playing across from Charles Woodson. Al Harris was always a player of questionable mental skill set. Get him pissed off and he was virtually worthless. (See: NFC Championship Game.) His departure was no great loss and bringing him in now would do little to nothing to improve the performance of this defensive unit. In my opinion, it would make them worse.

SOME OF YOU ARE SO DAMN EASY!!!! Nonstop you are #1 on the list.

I posted that last night just wondering, actually pretty much knowing what I would find tonight when I came back to check.

Did you not read the last line of my post? Ted Thompson was not going to and did not make any move.

I'm just wondering how long it will take Sunday for MD Jennings and/or Jarret Bush to have their names included with the words "you suck" in a post during the game.

SOME OF YOU NEED TO TAKE A CHILL PILL!!!!

Just a note, a team is compiled of 53 men + coaches + upper management. One man does not win or lose a game, a season, a championship. But if it makes some of you feel better to keep holding on to MOMENTS in time to justify your stance on a person or subject then by all means do so.

Just remember everybody has their own opinions, just because you state it doesn't make it true.

Non hit it pretty close. Al was a man-press-always-on-the-borderline-of-pass-interference corner. He drove me nuts. I love him, but am not especially saddened to see him gone, at least the part about "on the field", for him.
