Donald’s very proud, he’s been a great player, (will) continue to be a great player here, but we have a lot of people, and we’re using them all. That’s the reality of it. Every week it’s somebody else that we’re going to pick at because he didn’t have the numbers he had the week before. Frankly, I think it’s a bunch of garbage.

Do they want the ball? Yeah. Yeah, they want the ball. They all want the ball. And if they don’t want the ball [voice rising here] then I have a real issue with them. That’s part of playing in this league. But every week to come in here and a guy scores three touchdowns one week and he doesn’t have any the next week, and that’s an issue? I mean, what are we doing here? Those are good, positive things about your team. And I’m not going to continue to sit here and answer this thing every week. Like I said, I think it’s a bunch of garbage.

He was not happy...Thats for sure. I would expect the question to continue to come up...Its going to be an issue in some peoples minds almost every week. At the same time it doesn't pay to even ask because even if someone was upset you will not get MM to admit it. pointless to ask.

I don't really have a problem with people asking why one of the highest paid players on the team hasn't contributed much. Driver has been one of the best WRs in Packers history and I think it's natural for people to be curious if his lack of contribution is due to his skills declining.

I think it was more along the lines of 'is it causing problems' instead of why isn't he involved.

They probably are trying to let him get healthy. Is 100% of Jordy better than 80% of DD? Quite a possibility at this point.

Pretty sure 100% Nelson is better than 100% Driver at this point in their careers

I'm fine with the response by McCarthy, though. It's good for a coach to strike a little fear into the reporters occasionally. As long as it doesn't become a regular thing. I remember Mike Ditka getting into it with reporters repeatedly toward the end of his time in Chicago. It didn't look good.

And nothing to worry about from DD's end so far. He said all the right things when asked about it today. He said sense they are 5-0 it's hard to complain. He understands that Rodgers is going to throw it to the open man. Looking at the numbers its pretty clear that driver just hasn't been open as much. Plus hasn't played as many snaps.

I think 🇲🇲 handled this perfectly. Going on week 6 now and 3 out of the 6 weeks, reporters have asked similar questions to the wide receivers.

After week 1- James Jones
After week 4- Jermichael Finley
After week 5- Donald Driver

That's enough to probably piss him off and rightfully so. I haven't listened to a presser in a couple days but are the reporters ever asking "light" questions such as, "how does it feel to be 5-0 right now?"

Unfortunately, I see Donald Driver's production kind of staying along these lines the rest of the season. Maybe he has another throwback miracle touchdown this weekend and breaks 100 tackles for 80 yards. 😄

beast (3h) : Wow, 95% drop in investment revenue? Would be interesting to hear the details of why...
dfosterf (25-Jul) : It's my one day deal complaint dept. on shareholder meeting day
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Probably a homer access credential intimidation kinda thing
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Meathead "journalists" skip this, concentrating on operational revenue when convenient. They switch when net revenue is more favorable.
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Resulting in an actual drop of net revenue of 12.5%. She is from Minnesota. Just sayin'
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Any plans to hold Maureen Smith (CFO) accountable for a 95% drop in investment revenue?

Zero2Cool (23-Jul) : Suppose if locker room is main issue, we sitting pretty
wpr (23-Jul) : I thought so Mucky. In those useless player polls GB always rates high overall. Locker is a part of it.
