4PackGirl, what you just said is that women are human. Men choose women based on types too, and that type can change from day to day, minute to minute. (Availability and interest tend to trump type anyway.)
And Kevin, you're right. The research shows that a woman knows within 7-10 seconds if there is any possibility she would ever sleep with you. I am sure that it often happens faster than that. There are some women I can tell instantly, at first glance, that I could never be interested in them. There are others I am intrigued by until the second they open their mouth, then I lose all interest. (My partner in English class, for example. She's hot, but goddamn, she can't get two words out without saying "like," "um," or "I dunno" -- I wish I were exaggerating).
Some women like shy men. Some women like assholes. Some women like both. The best you can do is offer potential customers what you have and see who's interested. Trying to be something you are not makes you look lame pretty quickly.

Some will probably say this is wrong of me, but Lydia, the soon to be 15 year old that I've been father for since she was four. She says "like" so much that it truly distracts me. The part some will say poor fathering is... I've told her to quit it, for several reasons, one of them being guys that you WANT interested in you, will LOSE interest because like they don't know like what you're like all about like cuz they can't like understand a fucking word you're saying!!
More to what Rourke is saying, its true, a woman can have all the looks in the world, but that doesn't mean she's attractive. Same goes with guys. I always get a kick out of seeing a guy with a woman who is clearly above his 'level' and folks going how did HE get HER? Easy, he was himself and he TRIED!
Plus, and this is just speculation, but I think women prefer to be more attractive than their partner.
