Poll Question: Does Rodgers throw for more than 350 and 4 TD's?

Total: 23

Zero - Exceptions to every generalization. That said, I stand by saying your generation sucks. They'd rather play videogames than learn about female anatomy. WTH?

Peteralan - You got me beat. I'm not even going to say my six mile time right now. It's embarrassing. Running one mile is easy. I'll readily admit that.

I've heard Rodgers quoted on multiple occasions and from multiple outlets that Rodgers uses people underestimating him or disrespecting him as a major motivator to succeed. I don't see how that's wrong in the slightest. It might not work for everyone but it clearly works for Rodgers. He was slighted by D1 programs out of High School, went to Junior College and proved he was for real before starting with Cal. He was slighted by 23 teams in the NFL, booed by Packer fans (who now love him) when Favre flip-flopped, and questioned by the media. He proved he was for real by taking the Packers to the playoffs in 2009 and a championship in 2010.

There's no telling if Favre's backhanded compliment will directly result in a monster game in Atlanta Sunday night. But I wouldn't be surprised.

Whether Favre intended the so-called compliment to be backhanded or not is beside the point in the discussion of how Rodgers perceives it. All that matters is his perception. If he does perceive it as a slight against himself, Rodger's history shows that it can only be a good thing for us fans.

I hope they go in there and blow Atlanta out. Atlanta got tweaked in the head when we crushed them in the playoffs. They had home field advantage throughout and thought it was "their year." LOL. As a result of what happened, they went out and gave up a Herschel Walker scenario for Julio Jones. JUST to beat us.
So I think we're in their heads. We're almost to them like the Cowboys were to us in the 90s. We could become that to them. However, as I've posted elsewhere, MM's teams always shit themselves at this point in the season. So I'll believe it when I see it. But I do hope to see it.

Yeah, MM's teams tend to start slow but we're handling the injuries well, the teams well, etc. The defense needs to improve to match the offense but...dude wtf?

I used to be able to run one mile in about 5 minutes and 6 miles in under 40 minutes, but back then I was a lonely, emaciated pipsqueak with no self-confidence who lived in terrible knee and lower-back pain. Now I am lucky to break 6:30 for one mile and 14 minutes for two, but I can squat and deadlift over 400 lbs, I have a banging body, I am pain free, and women love me. Pound for pound, I am almost as strong as Mike Neal. I'll take being a strong, confident and healthy weightlifter over being a weak and timid runner with lots of endurance any day. Being able to run long distances just teaches you that if a threat came up, you could run away and hopefully escape. Being strong teaches you that if a threat came up, you could stand your ground, fight back, and protect not only yourself but those you love.

That being said, I voted "no." Aaron Rodgers has had an exceptional run the past few weeks, so probability says he is likely to regress toward his mean, which is 275 yards and 2 touchdowns a game for his career. Yes, those numbers are skewed downward a bit by his first three years as a backup, but they sound about right to me. It wouldn't surprise me if he has another rushing touchdown as well.

šŸ‡¦šŸ‡· is a much different QB than his "mean" is. He's on a totally different level as he has gotten better each year. The NFL is a different game than just a few years ago, passing wins and GB passes better than the rest. Yesteryear's outstanding game is the new average game.

I voted yes; he'll go big.

You're right. Aaron Rodgers never threw for 188 yards, 2 TDs, 2 INTs . . . or 181 yards, 3 TDs, 2 INTs . . . or 170 yards, 0 TDs, 0 INTS in 2010. All of that is ancient history. The good times are just gonna keep rollin', boys!

Obviously, I don't know if it will be this game that his performance experiences a correction, but to assume that he is going to continue indefinitely at his current pace borders on naive.

Not saying he isn't capable of having a bad game, just saying he's a better QB than his career averages.

beast (6h) : I don't want to get into politics, but how is, beers and brats considered to be "woke"? Food is food...
beast (6h) : That being said, I'm not saying all 100% should be that way, but not surprised if majority are Wisconsin based

dfosterf (7h) : 39 companies so far that I bet no one has ever heard of.
dfosterf (7h) : -Not saying woke, but should- borderline philanthopist venture capital excercise
dfosterf (7h) : Well for one, they are pouring resources into Title Town Tech. Investing beer, brat, hot dog, ticket money into what is pretty much...
beast (13h) : Wow, 95% drop in investment revenue? Would be interesting to hear the details of why...
dfosterf (25-Jul) : It's my one day deal complaint dept. on shareholder meeting day
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Probably a homer access credential intimidation kinda thing
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Meathead "journalists" skip this, concentrating on operational revenue when convenient. They switch when net revenue is more favorable.
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Resulting in an actual drop of net revenue of 12.5%. She is from Minnesota. Just sayin'
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Any plans to hold Maureen Smith (CFO) accountable for a 95% drop in investment revenue?

dfosterf (25-Jul) : Possibly hit his head leaning into the glass protecting the food in the cafateria
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Maybe a low flying drone
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Did Savion Williams run into a goalpost or something?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jul) : also, no bueno when a guy starts getting concussions right off the bat in his career
Zero2Cool (25-Jul) : Concussion is worse. Banks probably vet off day via back booboo claim
Mucky Tundra (25-Jul) : @AndyHermanNFL Jordy Nelson out at camp today. No word if he’s in play for one of the two open roster spots ; )
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Is that better or worse than Banks bad back?
