Poll Question: Does Rodgers throw for more than 350 and 4 TD's?

Total: 23

Well, that's the thing. I said under and nobody's arguing with me.

Taking the under is the easy way out! How many times has Aaron thrown for over 350 compared to the games he hasn't?

Two factors make me think over.

Jermichael Finley and Nick Collins.

Loss of Nick means most likely more passing and Packers are also without Cullen Jenkins and apparently haven't figured out how to get a pass rush at all.

Addition of Finley means more offense.

It seems to me, these go hand in hand. With the Packers giving up more yards, probably points too, the offense will have to be more potent, of which it should be since it has Finley back. Factor in Rodgers dominates on turf with all this and you get 350+ yards and probably 3+ TD's .. I think in the poll I had 4? Either way, high scoring output by the Packers and probably Falcons.

Online forums are meant to mimic, in some fashion, human conversation. I don't know if I ever participated in a conversation that stayed strictly on topic, but if I did, I am sure I got bored pretty quickly. That's just not how the human mind works. The brain is amazing at making associations. Something one person says sparks an often completely unrelated thought in the other person's mind, he mentions it -- and they're off on a tangent. Maybe they will regain the original thread of the conversation, maybe it's gone forever. In either case, conversation tends to be fluid and organic.

Frankly, I usually find the tangents that pop up on this site to be the most interesting conversations we have. It's during the tangents I tend to learn new things, not only about the Packers (or history or politics or whatever), but also about my fellow members.

That being said, I do usually try to steer threads back on topic when they have strayed too far afield, but there is only so much we peons can do to split out conversations. Sure, we can create new threads, but then those conversations are wrested from their original context. Only you can split out the offending posts so that the original post that triggered the tangent can be included with the new conversation, so . . . 🤷

So, Ryan Grant called me last night. The conversation went something like this....

ZS - Yo RG, wassup?

RG - Wassuuuuuup? Actually, pissed off Z.

ZS - Why's that, negro?

RG - There's some people on packershome.com dissin' my game.

ZS - They're idiots. I wouldn't worry about them RG.

RG - Easy for you to say. It hurts, man. It really hurts. Digs deep. Know what I'm sayin'?

ZS - Yeah, so what you gonna do about it?

RG - I talked to Coach. I'm gettin' 20+ carries and I'm breaking 120 yards.

That's right, folks. RG's in the game plan and gonna light up their house.

So obviously under. 🇦🇷 will get his 4 TDs, but the yards, don't be surprised if he doesn't even break 250. Ryan Grant will get the rest.

Remember, you heard it here first.

Rodgers goes H.A.M.

Roddy White's comments are what is in the back of 🇦🇷 mind. He can care less about what old man rivers said.

Georgia Dome is probably the most memorable title belt I can think of. Falcons are scared.

I think 🇦🇷 will do it because he can and they can't stop him. His passing will probably enable us to have good rushing numbers too. The offense will put up big numbers, the defense might give up some big numbers but just not as big.

I just think that some of the general comments that I heard that that game was kind of a fluke, maybe, I would just say that I think you need to respect your opponents. We definitely respect the Falcons. . . . I just felt like that maybe the respect level, just as far as those comments were concerned, maybe [wasn't] there at times.

Aaron Rodgers wrote:

That was Rodgers response/reaction to Roddy White saying the Packers essentially won in the playoff game gains the Falcons because they “didn’t perform at our highest level.”. Roddy White also say the Falcons are the better team.

No one should be feared, but, I don't know if I'd want to add any fuel to Aaron Rodgers motivation.

Well, I'm wrong on both counts. I said he'd get under 300 yards but 4 TDs. He only got 2 TDs and almost 400 yards.
