Poll Question: Does Rodgers throw for more than 350 and 4 TD's?

Total: 23

There are so many problems with your argument that I wish I weren't in class at the moment and didn't have hours for lab this evening so I could dissect them. Suffice it to say that the evidence is mounting in the research that not only is distance running not as healthy as once thought, it may in fact be harmful (for many reasons, among them chronic free radical damage). Weightlifting is one of the healthiest ways to improve physical fitness, and performed correctly, it also improves cardiovascular fitness. (Try squatting two times your body weight for half an hour or so -- it feels very similar to running a road race.) It's not like I am talking about elite-level bodybuilding or powerlifting here.

I don't train for fighting. That was a metaphor for the self-confidence I feel since I began weightlifting, something that running never did for me. I was an insecure, skinny little dude when I was a runner, which I am not anymore. I consider the psychological and emotional benefits just as valuable as the physical benefits.

As for the poll, I don't think Rodgers will post those stats. Falcons this year have been quite dissapointing. I expect us to build a healthy lead early and maintain that with a solid running game. Though when Rodgers does pass, I don't think he will make many mistakes 250ish with 2 TDs and no INTs is my estimation.

You're probably right. I'm thinking with Ryan, White and Jones though, maybe they mount a comeback and the Packers have to sling it more? Packers secondary hasn't been done any favors from the pass rush and there seems to be holes ...

How often do you guys get into fights? If you're like me, um...never. Not everybody is like me though so maybe fights come up in every day life.

In the long term (like lifetime), more aerobic activity is beneficial for the heart. It makes it stronger. Weightlifting (not bashing here) is good exercise but the extra muscle mass works the heart more because it has extra mass to supply blood too while not normally providing it the aerobic activity to make it stronger.

But in the end, I would have to agree most with Zero. We should stay on topic.

Such good subjects get wasted in threads like this. Sure, the original topic is ... ehh ... but the other one that procured could easily be started anew and run a muck. Instead, not one of you have the brain power to do so? You rely on me to spend my time splitting the posts and doing something each of you has the ability to do?

Packers > Falcons (even though I predicted the Packers would lose this game before the season started) and I think Rodgers has a big day, not because he's Rodgers, but because he's going to have to put up 34+ to beat the Falcons.

I do make an honest attempt to split topics. Most recently, I did do the Pack93z vs Zombieslayer Neon Deion thread.

If you're cool with that, then that's what we should do. I put a note in the old thread that I split the topic into the section I put it in.

I'm not trying to be all Nazi here, but sure an off topic post here and there, hurts no one. It's when the off topic posts spawn into taking over the entire thread that makes me think, really, we lack the foresight to create a new topic in the right area for this?

I wanna add something to this actual topic, but I'd just be repeating myself, again! lol
