Given the environment that people like Ron Wolf were creating in Green Bay, if his career hadn't come to an untimely close, it very well could have been Don Majkowski whom people were worshiping.

I don't get why it is so difficult for people to separate the great football player from the very imperfect person he is. For the record, I don't like people that cheat on their wives and take advantage of their position to leverage things they don't deserve. Leroy Butler once said we don't want to know all the dirt about Favre. From the dirt we do know, I don't care for the guy.

I still have my posters of him up in the garage attic, so there's still a chance; but I doubt it.

Whenever I hear Brett talk about Aaron, I can't help but think their is a slight backhand within his compliments. Typically I ignore anything that involves Favre and his opinions, because over the last couple of years I have lost loads of respect for the guy. To say their is more talent in Green Bay than years ago is like a slam to many great players that deserve more respect than what Brett seems to be giving them (Reggie White among others come to mind.) He almost makes it sound like he won his ring without any help from the rest of the team.

Seriously #4, quit doing interviews. Regardless of the intention of your words, most of us just cannot believe that you are giving praise without a little slap to the face at the same time. We as fans do not have the same respect that we did years ago for you, and I doubt you can change that. Your mouth just continues to pour endless diarrhea on respectable players and fans.[puke]

You know what? Who cares?

We won 1 SB with Favre. One with 🇦🇷.

Let's move forward instead of back. At the end of this season, 🇦🇷 will have one more SB ring than Favre.

I didn't even read into Favre's comments as a slam. I don't know where people got that. I think Favre admires 🇦🇷's abilities now. His beef wasn't with 🇦🇷 but with 🇹🇹. But whatever. Who cares? We got the best team in the NFL and there will always be disgruntled players. It's just a shame Favre couldn't be more like Al Harris.

I guess I take the slightly backhanded comment as him knowing that he could have won the Super Bowl last year if he was still the QB in GB. Not that this was ever really an option, but you can't help but wonder. He's jealous. It happens. I'm jealous that my childhood church didn't give me much money for my seminary education, and now that they've got oil money, they're offering more monetary support for someone from the church who is in seminary now. That person is getting what I feel like I deserved. Not proud of admitting it, but, yeah, I'm a little jealous. It happens to us all.

I am not sure why people are interpreting Favre's comments as backhanded. I interpreted his words as saying that Rodgers is so good, he could have had a championship even earlier in his career if things had worked out.

In any case, Jim Rome said this morning that Favre desires a "Brut slap" for what he said.
