Is it possible that the team just blocked that much better for Grant, or that the playcalling was that much more advantageous for Grant? Sure. But it's not the case. On a number of Grant's successful runs, it was classic one-cut and go. There were also some favorable matchups. From memory, there were a handful of times where Green Bay ran either a 3WR/2RB or 3WR/TE/RB set and had nice gains. Think about it: with only 6 guys in the box, that's an obvious chance for nice gains.

Green Bay's run offense works differently than most teams. For most teams the run opens the pass (which is still true of Green Bay to an extent with play action). But more often it seems that Green Bay's passing game opens up the running lanes.

I do agree that Grant had more opportunities, as far as holes are concerned, but Starks definitely had a few times that he had an opening.
