Serious question.. really how much influence does sex itself have upon society as a whole?

Does it truly motivate or control segments of the society?

I think it is the underlying basis for much of our society. From commercials to dating the head cheerleader/captain of the football team.

I don't know.. a life decision (profession, location, way of life) primarily based on sex alone would seem illogical and hollow.

To me.. that has always been the icing on the cake that is life.. not a main ingredient of the cake itself.

This is probably wrong of me... I'm more apt to help a woman with car problems, than a male. I've learned when it comes to cars, most men take offense when someone offers assistance.


In general, even at work, I've found women are easier to help than men. For some reason, men are difficult to help. Before Shawn chimes in, yes, I know, I am kinda one of those stubborn men. 🙂

In the media we all seem to loathe, white male sexuality has been mocked to the point that white males have become desexualized. It has become part of our society to the point that it's only acceptable for a white gay male to show off his sexuality. A white straight male being sexy in public? He'll be mocked.

Now, a black or Latino straight male walking into a club and being sexy? Norm.

And yes, sex is a HUGE part of life, even to the point where I'll keep my skin color even though I have to put up with racist a-hole cops. It's a wash.

Employment? We've all been unemployed so I don't buy anyone's got an advantage unless they got rich parents.

Skin color's a wash nowadays. You talk about the past. The past is the past. I'm a Historian and I still say the past is the past. Learn from it? Yes. Live in it? No.

Bull shit, this thread is about racism and why Jorde is better than Jones. Because I am a white male, I have been castrated by society and cannot speak as I feel. But it sure was fun watching white boy Jorde toast all those Giants secondary guys last year, huh?

And one other thing my friend, I am not comfortable with the title Sir. Although I sit in a soft chair for half my income, I do extreme labor in my other profession and am much more comfortable with the titles such as Dumbass, Shitass, Piece of Shit and pretty much anything denigrating. I have little doubt the sex is important.. but really does it challenge greed, power, race, gender and religion in the dynamic workings of a society and it overall decision making?

Back to the original direction of this thread.. race is becoming less and less of a factor yearly. Economic standing and class discrimination is becoming more and more of a factor by the week.. let alone year.
