Lang's the man for Packers
Green Bay - The Green Bay Packers wanted bigger and better than Daryn Colledge at left guard and shouldered the onus for finding that player
Three weeks into training camp they've come up with T.J. Lang, a brawler with a far different playing style from his predecessor.
"Not to belittle Colledge, but I think T.J. will definitely be more effective," nose tackle B.J. Raji said Monday shortly after coach Mike McCarthy announced Lang had beat out rookie Derek Sherrod.

"T.J.'s a stronger player with a pretty good punch," said Raji. "In the (zone) scheme we run, we go a lot lateral so you want a stronger guard so, if a guy gets his hands on him, he won't get knocked back so far in the backfield.
"Even going against Colledge this year he was trying to reach me or finish me with a cut. Going at my legs. Dummy calling me. Just things that don't show much confidence. He's not really strong and doesn't have too much confidence."
