Frost sucks, but who else is out there? John Carney? Dustin Colquitt? Michael Koenen?

None of the currently available stiffs is liable to better at punting in the cold and holding for Crosby than Frost. Booting Ryan for Frost was a stupid mistake, but cutting him now would be a bigger one. Unless someone who's obviously better becomes available, we'll take our lumps and fix it in the offseason.

In reading throuogh this thread, I see a definite tone for a different punter...

However, there are many football players that thrive under pressure. But, they are football players and not punters.

I liked Ryan as a punter because, though his leg was so so, he had the balls of a football player. He played tough. He ran with the ball well and tried to make plays. Most of all, he came through on a consistent basis

Frost seems to get too distracted at the pressures of the game and his concentration breaks down.

What we need is not a new punter but a psychiatrist for Frost. AND Ted Thompson may be...

All Big Ten selection as a senior at Wisconsin.. twice named big ten special team player of the week last year.. solid punter in college.
