Just saw the game on NFL Network. One guy I thought looked good, that I hadn't heard about much was Brandon Saine. Dude looked pretty fluid out there, looked like he had some power too. Can definitely catch the ball. He's a fringe players, but I'd like to see him make the team. Shakey Smithson looked all right too.

I thought Saine looked just okay. Nothing stood out to me. I don't see how he can make the team unless someone else gets injured. Starks and Green are locks, and I don't see any indication that they're thinking of dumping Grant, who looks fully recovered from his injury.

I thought he looked better than Quinn Porter or Kregg Lumpkin. Then again, he was up against scrubs.

Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another. -Vince Lombardi

I also liked the play of Saine on Saturday, but he is on a team that is already set at this position. He definitely looked better than Nance did and one plus was he is able to catch out of the backfield.

Grant
Starks
Green
Kuhn
Johnson

will be our runningback/fullback depth. Saine could possibly sit on the practice squad.

Johnson can leave...

offers nothing in the passing game, blocking or recieving.

I really could see us keeping 5 TEs, especially with Jermichael's injury history and contract status. Crabtree and Ryan Taylor offer enough on ST alone to be considered for the final 53.
