But let me ask you this question, why spend that much effort on a one year filler?

To me... the punter issue is down quite a ways in the problem department for the Packers currently... bring in and "quack" if that will help the issue.

93z, I'd spend that effort to simply make Frost perform at an average level this year.

I'd say that Field position has killed us, Field position directly a result of Frost's shanked/bad punts.

If I'm on Defence, I see Frost shank it... well I'd be a little demoralized. Frost, along side the lack of quality D-Linemen have been the two biggest problems this year, IMO, that have contributed greatly to our 6 losses.

No, I'm saying there is no punter that can perform better than Frost outside, in the cold, than Frost.

Mason could do a better job punting.

The guy has been pure crap all year. Obviously there is no "improving" with him.

To be a smart alec... I might have been tempted to ask wasn't Ryan from within? I mean he had made the final 53 right?

Look.. MM and probably Ted know this was a mistake.. but something has changed in Teddy over the last year or two.. at first he was very quick to fix his mistakes... today.. they seem to linger for a while..

whoever had the idea to dump Ryan and bring Frost on should be fired. If Frost is still the punter at the end of the day today, then whoever makes those decisions should be fired. The bottom line is that those who make the decisions need to be held as accountable as the players.

We can blame Frost but there is more room for criticism for the defense, Mr. Rogers and the special teams.

That short punt hurt a lot, but stats-wise, I think Frost is about average in the NFL. The Packers are not likely to scrounge up a better punter at this point in the season. Maybe they can draft one in the third round next year (just kidding).

He might be average, stats wise, but it's because punts like his first one were so bad that the return guy couldn't get to it. It rolled 20 yds before we downed it and ended up being a 48 yd punt, no return. But it still stunk.

I think part of the issue is Frost is the holder, and they don't want to fix one position and create a problem at another.
