Mixed emotions on this one NSD...mixed emotions.
While I am much more receptive to McNabb, also somewhat leery as well.
The biggest upgrade over last year was getting rid of that numb-nuts Brad Childress.
Hell, Childress even made DakotaT look like a genius...but I digress.
I am so tired of the Vikings revolving door of aging QB's without any thought to the long term.
Hell, I even heard that in few years, Peyton Manning wants to retire as a Viking, just like his Dad Archie did.
On the flip side, I believe that McNabb will bring some stability under center.
And that the "pass-heavy" offense of the last two years will now be more balanced with the run.
"Having McNabb presence at the quarterback position means rookie Christian Ponder doesn’t have to start immediately.
and Joe Webb, you’re riding the pine as well."This link pretty much sums up my feelings about McNabb.
