I think in a way this is a snapshot of this season. The teams that are really dominating have shown different sides, but there is one glaring stat for New Orleans. They had the number 1 offense going in and going out. Their record doesn't reflect this feeling I have, but the stat does... and that feeling is that New Orleans is the offensive juggernaut that the Patriots were last year. They don't have a big five... it is their whole offense.
As much as I felt down on the Packers, I think the actual story of this game, is on the side of the Saints succeeding as an offensive beast that deserves the respect they should be and most certainly are now receiving.
Along with this game, watching the NFC north this year, even the wins feel weird to take in. Everyone had their shot at a limping AFC team and the Lions, but I truly feel that this is the worst division in football. I know the records are better than the NFC west but the major mediocrity going around here is very uninspiring.
