VR... I stand by my comment that you adopted as the signature.. we blew a big chance last night to gain momentum and prove that we can win games in which we should.
Our defense should have been able to at least throw a speed bump out there.
Out offense, seen in the first half should have been able to roll points up on this team.. we didn't.. no excuses for this game.
If Mike McCarthy comes out today with a "everything" is fine speech.. I think I may pack up the truck around 1, drive over to Green Bay and start going door to door in the Lambeau offices preaching to the choir of the problems we have currently.... we are not fine and we are not consistent.. we have issues that need to be addressed ASAP.
Monty and Hunter provided nothing in terms of pass rush.. Thompson needs to get back on the field ASAP.. at least he flashes.
We get no push from the interior of this defensive line.. Pickett maybe a little, but that is it.. Cole might as well drop into zone cuz with those short arms he can't get off the block in pass rush. They have to be able to collapse a little on the QB.
Chillar is the best backer we have right now on the field.. period. Something is wrong with Hawk.. he looks very stiff and can't stay with anyone in coverage.. thus he drops into zone every time.. they picked the center of the field clean. Poppinga has no business being on the field right now.. over running everything and sucking in on running plays... he was awful last night. Maybe put him at rush end.. Hawk back to his spot, Chillar to Sam, and Bishop to MLB.
Secondary will bounce back... they got picked over like roadkill last night, but they will be fine.
