Can somebody please explain to me why this man still has a job? Yeah it sucks that we lost Cullen Jenkins and Barnett, but a DC worth his weight can come up with ways to overcome these losses.

First of all, Bigby is the wrong player for safety. Big hits are awesome to watch, but a good safety is always assignment sure, and Biby got toasted as bad as can be tonight.

But back to Sanders, does the man even know that blitzes are legal in the NFL. He just let the leading passer in the league stand back there all night for pitch and catch. I've had enough of this guy but I guess on the bright side he's not Bob Slowik.

Yea, I sick of our pass rush. It's been anemic the whole year and we've practically stopped blitzing. It's like, when we don't get a pass rush and give up big plays in the air, Sanders decides to pull people back and do a 3-man rush with eight in coverage. He's solving the wrong problem. Our coverage is fine, but they can't be expected to cover a receiver forever, eventually they'll get open.

I agree ... this guy shouldn't even had a job or even had a look at by any team in the nfl after 4th and 26.

Our defense is limited by the fact that it has exactly one legitimate pass rusher--Aaron Kampman. Can anybody name even one other player on this defense who is any kind of pass rushing threat?

Having said that, I still don't feel we are getting the most out of our talent on defense. We'll see how the season plays out, but you've got to think that when the season is over, Sanders' performance as DC will be scrutinized pretty closely, especially considering that aggressive, blitzing defensive styles have been a trend in the NFL lately.

I think I called for his firing after the Atlanta game. Now I'm just sick and tired of this philosophy.

I read a nice article on Winston Moss in the paper. I still believe he should be given complete control of the defense and Sanders should be demoted or let go.

Is this a joke? Ed Donatell was the DC that year. Since then we've had Slowik, Bates, and now Sanders.

Sanders also doesn't evolve during the game. He sticks to his gameplan the whole way and doesn't switch it up.

Ya I saw a peice on Moss in preseason and liked is fire. That may be what we need. I do remember though this is the best passing team in the NFL

dj nailed it.. Bob Sanders and group are unable to make in game adjustments that work.. if the team has success, we have a hard time shutting down the well right now.

Championship teams don't struggle with adjustments during the game.

To me.. that is his biggest liability as a DC.
