I use my old 3G as a video player, there's a $50 dollar cord for sale that you can plug in to your TV and stream your videos. It's great. You'll have to get Visualhub or Handbrake for the conversion but it's worth it if you have video files on your computer. I can get you those programs if you can't find them.

I think you need a 4 to play Netflix, I'm talking about playing mp4's that you load onto the phone from your itunes
